USUAL SUSPECTS LEAD THE WAY

Veteran NSL'ers SAS Strikers, Happy Strikers, UnbeWiiVables and Center on the Hill all rolled big scores and seem poised to replace defending NSL Champions as the Cedar Crest Crushers chose not to compete in the fall league.

The new kid on the block may be the Sunshine Strikers 1 team led by coach Clara White's 279/256. The Strikers 1 and 2 teams hail from St. Petersburg, FL and both may challenge the leaders for the NSL crown. Another new team showing championship caliber play is the Hiawassee Hotshots, Hiawassee, Ga., coached by Brenda Brannock. The Hotshots were led in first week play by Murlene Bradley's 245/248. Another team to watch is the Wii Warriors from Walnut Village whose roster is made up of veteran NSL Wii Bowlers.

Week 1 NSL Shoutout to coach Tom Gray, Sierre Point Stryke Force, who put together 16 west coast teams representing Vintage Senior Communities. Tom's Stryke Force team is led by Wii Bowlers Flo Eng (205/213) and Jack Lewis (216/203). And a special NSL Welcome to the Kensington Knockouts, one of Tom's teams representing Vintage. It's their first try at Wii Bowling and first try in the NSL.

Four new members joined the NSL 300 Club. First timers include Rick Swaney, Center on the Hill, Susan Cheung, UnbeWiiVables, Joe Marshall, Terminators, and Vistal Thomas, Golden Spurs. They joined past members still on a roll, Warner Wisyanski, Margaret Kinnard, Bob Brigham, Joe Riccobene, Evelyn Kelly, Hazel Sellers and Tim Christensen.

The NSL announced today that barring unforseen circumstances their new website will be available for viewing on Tuesday, Aug 9th. The site has been designed for easier navigation, more information and additional individual and team statistics.
